The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) has announced that registration is now open for PDAC 2026, the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining convention, scheduled to take place from March 1 to 4, 2026, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The four-day event will once again bring together industry leaders, investors, government representatives, students, and Indigenous communities from around the world to discuss opportunities, form partnerships, and advance mineral projects.
PDAC President Karen Rees said the convention plays a unique role in connecting key stakeholders across the global mining ecosystem. “PDAC 2026 is where conversations, connections and capital converge at a scale you won’t find anywhere else. It provides a direct opportunity to engage with company leaders, policymakers, investors, and Indigenous partners, helping move projects forward and shape the future of the industry,” she said.
Building on the success of previous years, PDAC 2026 follows a 2025 convention that attracted more than 27,000 participants from over 130 countries, along with 91 government exhibitors. Organizers say this global reach and strong government-to-industry presence continue to position PDAC as the most influential annual gathering for the mineral exploration and mining sector.
The 2026 convention will feature more than 1,300 exhibitors across the Trade Show, Investors Exchange, and an expanded Trade Show North. Attendees will have access to a wide range of mineral projects, technologies, equipment, services, and country and regional showcases highlighting emerging opportunities across the sector.
Investment-focused programming remains a key highlight of PDAC, with platforms such as the Investors Exchange, Core Shack, Corporate Presentations for Investors, and the Investment Leaders Forum offering investors direct access to companies, projects, and market insights.
PDAC 2026 will also offer extensive programming through panel discussions, technical sessions, short courses, and keynote presentations. Topics will include Indigenous partnerships, sustainability, capital markets, financing, and advancements in geoscience and exploration, alongside flagship themes such as commodities, industry outlook, innovation, and discovery.
In addition to business and technical sessions, the convention will host a wide range of networking events, from daily informal meetups to large-scale social gatherings. The Awards Celebration & Nite Cap will recognize the recipients of the 2026 PDAC Awards and celebrate excellence across the global mineral industry.
