The COP31 Presidency has announced a 12-day thematic programme for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, which will be held in Antalya, Türkiye, from 9 to 20 November 2026. Each day of the conference will focus on a distinct priority area aimed at advancing global climate action and accelerating the implementation of climate commitments.
The programme will begin on 9 November with Food, Agriculture and Health, followed by Energy and Transport on 10 November.
The World Leaders Climate Action Summit, the highest-level segment of COP31, will take place on 11-12 November. The summit will bring together heads of state and government to strengthen political momentum, enhance international cooperation and accelerate action on climate commitments.
The first day of the Leaders Summit will coincide with the Zero Waste theme, while the second day will focus on Resilient Cities and Built Environment.

The COP31 thematic days are designed to connect climate policy with practical action. The programme will bring together ministerial dialogues, expert discussions, business forums and partnership announcements, with a focus on translating commitments into tangible outcomes.
The COP31 Presidency said the thematic programme is intended to strengthen cooperation across governments, businesses, experts and communities while supporting faster and more effective implementation of climate action worldwide.
