The deadline for organizations to express interest in setting up pavilions in the Green Zone —taking place in Belém, Pará, in November—ends on August 31. This marks the first stage of the approval process to acquire exhibition stands. Applications must be submitted online via the expression of interest form.
The Green Zone will feature thematic areas dedicated to crucial topics for a sustainable future, including climate finance, innovation, biodiversity, youth, clean technologies, and other relevant issues that will drive discussions on the impacts of climate change. It will serve as a global showcase and a dynamic platform for dialogue, innovation, and engagement, enabling multiple actors to share experiences, solutions, and projects.
Who can acquire spaces?
The Green Zone is open to organizations and entities engaged in climate action and sustainable development. This includes local and regional authorities, international and multilateral organizations, traditional communities, academic and research institutions, as well as the public and private sectors. Diversity is considered crucial to fostering dialogue and collaborative solutions to the global climate emergency.
Why participate in the Green Zone?
The space will be located next to the Blue Zone—the area coordinated by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), accessible only to accredited delegations for official negotiations. This proximity ensures global visibility for institutions, enabling meetings with high-level authorities and fostering opportunities for international partnerships.
Participants in the Green Zone will be able to strengthen their institutions’ commitment to sustainability alongside global stakeholders.

Approval process
The selection process for the COP30 Green Zone follows these steps:
Submission of an expression of interest using this form.
1. Initial screening of applications by the organizing committee.
2. Detailed review of pre-selected applications.
3. Final selection and notification of approved applications. And
4. Space confirmation.
The process is designed to ensure participant diversity, thematic relevance, and alignment with the conference’s principles.
Pavilion formats
When completing the expression of interest form, each organization must indicate the type of space they wish to have in the Green Zone. There are two options:
– Standardized Pavilions (Stands): Available in bronze, silver, and gold options, these come with a pre-designed structure, furniture, integrated visual communication, and basic event support. This space provides a practical and cost-effective solution, ideal for exhibitors seeking a ready-made alternative
– Customized Pavilions (Stands): These feature an exclusive design with creative freedom and technical support from the event team.
Spaces can be acquired starting at USD 1,250 per m² for the bronze standardized pavilion. Silver stands cost USD 1,350 per m², and gold stands at USD 1,500 per m². Investment for customized pavilions varies according to the exhibitor’s needs and has no set minimum or maximum price.

Additional customizable services
All Green Zone exhibitors will have access to a portfolio of additional products and services, including food and beverages, visual programming, equipment and furniture, human resources (such as receptionists and interpreters), property and vehicle rental, live marketing activations, and immersive experiences.
These services can be contracted directly through the platform, with customization options to meet the specific needs of each organization, for both standardized and customized pavilions.
